Pledge and plate statements are available in the Gathering Hall on the red-skirted tables.

                                                   Coffee Hour

Coffee Hour needs volunteers to fill in the year. There is a new bulletin board on the kitchen wall of the Gathering Hall. On this attractive setting you will find the "coffee hour" sign-up sheet. It would be nice if individuals and church "groups" would fill in the blank spaces. We are now over the coffee and cookies only phase of Lent so if you or your group would like to add something special to the hour it would be welcome, but not necessary. The main reason for volunteers is to manage the cleanup and put away after the event. You would normally be finished by high noon or shortly thereafter. Give it a try and continue making this after service event a pleasant affair.

                    Brotherhood of St. Andrews

St. Luke's chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrews now has volunteers available to help you with minor chore problems at home. If you would like more information, please call the church office and they will put you in touch with a member volunt

DO YOU ENJOY WRITING?

The Communication Commission is increasing its effort to keep parishioners and the public aware of ministries, events and opportunities at St. Luke’s.  Jack Knudsen Commission Chair, is looking for a few volunteers to help occasionally.

This is an important ministry.  It is an opportunity to help SPREAD THE WORD in a unique, special, and satisfying   way.

CAMPERS WANTED!!!

St. Luke’s group of campers, the Sojourners, is an informal, loosely knit, unstructured group with no officers, no committees, no one in charge, no obligations, no work.  It’s a list.  Each of us has the list and can advise the group that they are headed out, where and when.  Some will provide more information and a plan.  Others will say, “See you there.”   Or, if you would rather, you can call someone on the list and say, “How about heading up to . . . . .  on Monday?

If you are interested, call or e-mail Tom Barnett at 925-1912 (cell) or tsbarnett@cableone.net or see him at church (probably the 10 o’clock service or the Fellowship Hour which follows).

ST. LUKE’S PHOTOGRAPHERS INVITE NEW MEMBERS

The St. Luke’s Photography Group is an informal group of people interested in doing more photography and improving their skills through sharing.  Some in the group have a lot of experience.  Others have very little.  Some equipment is sophisticated.  Other cameras art very basic.  Each person has particular types of photography in which they are interested – nature, people, sports, etc.  Some have gone into photo-editing.  Each has something to share and each is learning from others.

How about it, you photographers?  Give it a try.  It’s a great way for new people in the parish to get to know others and the area.  If you would like to know more or attend a session, call or e-mail Tom Barnett at 925-1912 (cell) or tsbarnett@cableone.net.   If you like, stop him at church (usually at the 10 o’clock service or Fellowship Hour).
